Peter Crouch trust that Wayne Rooney can instigate England to World Cup title and become best player of the world. The Manchester United striker heads in to the tournament with the prospects of a nation depending on his shoulders. He has magnificence seasons at club level and scored 33 goals, many believes he is the best striker in the modern game. After his outstanding performance in the recent EPL, England has high hopes from him to lead the national side to victory.

Tottenham Crouch believes, it is a huge advantage for any side to have someone like Rooney, in such a fantastic form going into the World Cup, and he will play a key role in World Cup. He has always been extraordinary, and people are saying he needs to play with another striker. In this season for Manchester United, he has proved his skills to play up front on his own and still score goals.  Rooney is a World class player and he is been in top five players right now, everyone is looking towards him to perform well.  Crouch think that he could end up being the World player of the year, and it would be pride for England if someone could do that.
