England skipper Rio Ferdinand believes if he wins the world cup this summer there will be no bitterness shown towards former England captain John Terry. But Ferdinand believes that his current England side can win the biggest football tournament, and can end the 44 years long droughts of disappointment. Ferdinand doesn’t worry about the tension if they win the World Cup I don’t care who actually lifts the World Cup. And I am sure John Terry wouldn’t care who lifted the World Cup if Ian Wright feels he would feel like that is down to him. Ex-England striker Ian Wright has proposed John Terry would be distressed if the honour goes to Ferdinand after he was stripped of the armband by Fabio Capello.
He further said that I feel very relaxed as captain, and I am one of experienced lad’s in England side, and I am integral team member of this side for many years, all the young talents know me and all the senior guys have grown up with me. I feel relaxed at home as captain but has never been afraid to speak his mind. As far as England captain, I know it is a part of your job, and you have to deal with it. But I don’t look upon it as a pressure. You might get more people coming to you and will ask, can you do that, what you think about this role? I simply said that I do like the responsibility, and it is really nice. Everyone dreaming of to be captain of their club, and to be captain of England side definitely proud accolade your country.
He admits he learnt captain arts from his Machester United legend Roy Keane when he plays under his captaincy. The players who won the World Cup for England in 1966 are still being wheeled out to do appearances because it is such a big achievement and means so much to this country. Rio Ferdinand also feels a sense of pride in equaling Sir Bobby Charlton’s record of featuring in four World Cup finals. I never think about negative things, and when it comes into the Manchester United dressing room after games to say well done or unlucky. I really appreciate the Sir Bobby advices; his advice to me before I came here and said to out there be yourself and confident then you will be fine. He is the perfect ambassador not just for Manchester United but for football.
Torsten Frings still can’t believe that he is not the part of Germany world cup squad, and hasn’t digested his exclusion. He knows very well that he is surplus to requirement. German coach Joachim Low informed Frings in one to one meeting, and his career is over as far as Joachim remains in charge. Although there is no place for him even Michael Ballack, Christian Trasch, Simon Rolfes, have sustained injuries. I am extremely sad the way my career was dealt with, I am very upset how his German career was brought to such an end. I believe, to cut off me without any official farewell, It really hurts me. Well I have done with the Germany team, and I have no more contract whatsoever with the national team coach. Nevertheless I still have enough careers to be deserved for the place in the Germany World Cup squad. In my overall view and ability, I must deserve the place, and I should be included. When asked him if he felt he was better than the players who have been nominated, he said: I have an opinion but I don’t want to say anything bad about the lads. My sincere regards and wishes for Germany team and my fingers crossed that they win the World Cup. Now my intention is to help out Germany even if I was not in the back up squad. I would like to ended my career after World Cup in a decent manner, not in the way in which it has happened. Torsten Frings will follow the big events on television screen in home at Garmany and his kind hopes remains special for national team. The whole formation is on very frail foundations, and there is a lack of young and old, talented and experienced? I know very well what is required in such a huge tournament. It would be really tough against the sides like Brazil, Argentina, England, and Spain.
Aralsk, Kazakhstan Serik Duisenbayv was only 17 years old when he first saw the Aral Sea. I remember when I was born the sea was not in Aralsk. I had only listened about it from my parents and from history books. It becomes really very disappointing and sad when I saw it first time that people had to live without sea for almost 40 years. But now we can anticipate that now the sea is only 50km from Aralsk and maybe one day the water will be in the old harbor place once again. We can easily say that reduction of Aral Sea is the one of World’s most shocking man made environmental disaster. The sea lost almost 90 percent of its area after the rivers that fed it were sidetracked to irrigate cotton crops in the dry region in the 1960s. As the water move away, the sea became too salty for fish lives, killing off livelihoods. The back away of the Aral Sea has left the once flourishing port town of Aralsk, the town that stands its name, akin to nothing so much as a saline dustbowl.
In its glory days it supported a population of 25,000 people, and an estimated at least one person from each household engaged in the fish processing plants. Now the fish processing plants and ship building factories stand deserted; the train lines that once transported Aralsk’s precious cargo are derelict. Those ultimate effects directly affect many people and joblessness enforced many local people to travel to the big cities in search of good jobs. Those who stay behind still memorizing when this ghost town was an active harbor, complete with a floating restaurant. They still remember the Bolshevik Revolution, the fishermen of Aralsk exorbitant worked hard through the night to supply fish for a hungry nation on the orders of Vladimir Lenin. While driving through the grassland from Aralsk, we got stark reminder of past when this area was a part of sea bed where fishing boats were swaying before the sea disappeared; now remains of these vessels were found rusting and peeping through the cracked earth.
The retreating waters have left vast plains covered with salt, which is converted into toxic dust carried by wind, causing health and respiratory problems for the local people. The summers are hotter and drier whereas winters are colder and longer due to change in geography as the sea no longer is there to act as a moderator to control the temperature. In 2003, the sea level was about 12 meter below the level that was measured in 2005 after the work for separation of North Aral from the rest of the sea completed by spending $86 million on KOK-ARAL DYKE. This is first time in decades, that fishermen are returning back, who has been fishing in the north Aral Sea for one year. It is pleasure to see that fishing industry to step back into another time, when lowers net into the water and thanks for the fish he hope to catch.
There are certain thoughts of 15 types of fresh water fish in the north Aral Sea, including carp, catfish and bream. The pike perch fish called “golden fish” is the most expensive fish one kilo can fetch up to 500 tinges. The outlook for the leftovers of the Aral Sea remains unsure, but hopefully the second stage of the project that ambitions to get better water management in the Syr Darya basin, which nosh the Aral Sea will definitely help to reinstate Aralsk to its past glory as a prominent fishing port.
Aral Sea is shrinking, that all about the thoughts of many peoples, this sea is totally dead, their prime time has gone, and there is no more fishing in it. But we have to wait, because it is not dead yet, this sea is resting and waiting for better days. Many hopes directly associated with the World Bank who can save north part of Aral Sea in Kazakhstan.

Cafu is the only player in the history of game who played three World Cup finals in 1994, 1998, 2002. Though he played only one game in that tournament against Italy, Romário was acknowledged as the most important player of this World Cup, thanks to him the way his goals. This was the last World Cup of Romário. The 1994 World Cup final was perhaps least interesting game of the whole tournament. Both sides were very careful throughout their previous matches. In the beginning of the tournament Brazilians were not at their best it. The Final was played in front of 94,000 fans at the Pasadena Rose Bowl but it was very sluggish game, because both teams are not ready to take any risk and scared of losing the match. This was the first world cup which decided on penalty shootout in the attendance of 94,000 fans and that was largest crowd since then 1950. Brazil becomes 4th nation to grab the fourth world cup titles. They beat Italy 3-2 in a penalty shootout after the game ended 0-0 at extra time.
Hunza Lake is seeping out and water spill out smoothly on Saturday. The lake is formed by landslide in North Pakistan in Jan 2010. The next 48 hours is extremely critical and authorities are being afraid of catastrophic flooding. If the dam burst, intense flooding could wipe away many villages, bridges, and roads as well. This flood could effects the 50,000 people. Water spill out is extremely imperative to avoid possible flood.
The present water flows is very smooth and widening it, let’s see how the water acts in the next 24 hours, then situation will be cleared. Approximately 30,0000 villagers have already been moved to 24 camps. Before the flow of water initiates, the lake had already quagmire at least four upstream villages, dislocate nearly 6,000 people. Water level was increasing since January due to glaciers melting.
In early January a heavy landslide blocked the Hunza River and formed a massive lake. This gigantic landslide killed at least twenty people and stranded upstream 25,000, which they are struggling to linked with main town of Gilgit. The lake has also plunged a 22 kilometer of Karakoram Highway, a significant trade route of Pakistan’s consumer goods from China. The Pakistan military produced a spillway to drain the 19 km long and 360-feet deep lake.
If the dam bursts then consequences could be very dangerous and can wash away 34 villages and long stretch part of Karakorum, the only main road which connect Pakistan china trade, and it would possibly take 2 to 3 months to reopen the Karakorum highway, that would be obviously a great loss for Pakistan enconomy.
General Nadeem Ahmad, head of military relief said, the spillway and blockade would be faster in the next 48 hours and next coming hours would be extremely critical.
Pakistan is already under pressure with handling of crippling power cuts and is struggling to control the Taliban uprising and reinforce its lethargic economy, so it can ill afford a catastrophe such as widespread flooding.
